RAW FOOD, kids healthy recipe – Amazing Apple Cake


This Apple Cake kids healthy recipe is so easy to make, a delicious raw food, high energy food, great lunchbox recipe, great family dessert or snack!  It only took me 15mins to ‘uncook’, although a little forward preparation is needed – making it a mothers dream recipe!  Kids love it - so it is now another one of my great healthy recipes for children!

Following this wonderful raw recipe you will discover that this cake has no sugar, flour, eggs  or dairy – and it is so delicious and impressive looking that people won’t believe it’s raw food!  Whenever I feed it to my daughter out and about (eg at playgroup) all the mothers are shocked to learn this and all want to know how to cook it for thier children!

Remember cooking kids food that is healthy and nutricious can be simple, fun and quick when you prepare raw food. Eating raw is delicious and super healthy, in addition, as I have discussed when infused with your heart energy, the energy in food is even higher and the food you prepare will nourish your New Frequency Child/ren and your family even more!

REAL TIPS:  You can serve this with a lovely cashew cream or raw icecream.  If you want that creaminess without nuts, top it with some sliced banana.   This cake lasts in the fridge for several days, making dessert for 2-3 nights (bonus).
Ingredients:

The Base
2 cups of insecticide free or organic walnuts, soaked overnight and rinsed well
½ cup of fresh organic dates, soaked for ½ an hour

The Topping
1 cup of organic sultanas, soaked for one hour and drained
5 organic apples, peeled cored and chopped
2 tablespoons of flax seeds, ground
2 tablespoons of psyllium husks
½ – ¾ cup of shredded organic coconut
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
juice of 1organic  lemon
Method:
1.   Put the base ingredients in the food processor and whiz using the ‘S’ blade until a ball
forms. You may need to scrape the sides down a few times.
2.   Put the ball on a plate and flatten into a round flat cake shape around 1cm think.
3.   Put all of the topping ingredients into your food processor with the ‘S’ blade. (I don’t rinse my food processor between mixtures.) Whiz until medium coarseness and spread on top of the base, chill and serve.
