RAW FOOD – kids healthy recipe: Delicious Almond Hummas (or dip)

This is a RAW food, a high frequency food,  a divinely sweet/savoury yummy yummy Hummas that your children will love! My kids have given this dish the BIG TICK for taste and fun, asking to have it again – AMAZING! This is why this simple recipe it is now another one of my great healthy recipes for children.

A delicious snack, lunchbox recipe, entertaining dish or even a meal.

Following this wonderful raw recipe you will discover that it is fun to cook and eat.  Iif you cut up lots of vege’s/fruit into sticks your kids can choose what they want and dip it in themselves!  It is a great lunchbox recipe.

GREAT TIPS:  This is so filling and full of protein that it can even be used as a main course.  Is great with Celery Sticks, Carrot Sticks, Beetroot Sticks, slices of Apple etc…

Preparation Time: Only 10 minutes, once the nuts have been soaked for approximately 8 hours.

Ingredients:

½ cup insecticide free almonds (soaked overnight)
1 tablespoon raw organic tahini
1 clove garlic
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons organic lemon juice
1/3 cup water
¼ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Method:

1. Soak almonds overnight, and empty out water.
2. Add almonds with rest of ingredients to blender
3. Blend well

Serving Size:   This quantity does about 2 people for a meal or a family of 5 for dipping snack.

NOTE:  If your child is too young for nuts, or has an allergy for nuts avoid giving them this hummus.  If you are unsure – give them a little bit first to see if they have a reaction.  My 13 month old loves nuts and this dish… but every child is unique and I leave this decision to your discretion!

Do remember that cooking kids food that is healthy and nutricious can be simple, fun and quick when you prepare raw food. Eating raw is delicious and super healthy, in addition, as I have discussed when infused with your heart energy, the energy in food is even higher and the food you prepare will nourish your New Frequency Child/ren and your family even more!
