What chemicals are you exposing your child’s skin to?

Did you know that the skin is the largest organ of the body? It actually breaths and can absorb many things (good/bad.). It also is home to many ‘good’ bacteria. For this reason we need to be extremely careful what we put on our New Frequency Child’s skin…

Did you know that the skin is the largest organ of the body? It actually breaths and can absorb many things (good/bad.). It also is home to many ‘good’ bacteria. For this reason we need to be extremely careful what we put on our New Frequency Child’s skin – as chemicals can be absorbed into their sensitive high frequency system very quickly via the skin and the ‘good bacteria’ on their skin can be killed – all leading to skin irritation, allergies and a general decline in wellbeing. So what is in your child’s’ creams, soaps, shampoo, moisturizer, baby wipes, nappies, toothpaste, bubble bath, clothes detergent, floor detergent, dishwashing detergent etc… have your looked lately?

I always say; as a good rule of thumb, if you can’t pronounce it don’t use it!

Buy natural and organic toiletries and cleaning products for your child.

Because absorption of chemicals through the skin is so important, there are now many safe options available for parents and caregivers to purchase when it comes to toiletries and cleaning products. You can purchase safe products in most supermarkets and definitely all health food stores.

I simply request that before you purchase anything you read the label. So many products say they are organic, for sensitive skin, dermatologically tested etc… but when you read the label you find there is one essential oil in it, or two organic products among a cocktail of other chemicals! I find it really concerning that many people unknowingly offer well know and respected baby products to their children, without realizing these are products from a bygone era when chemicals were all the rage! Our children are too sensitive now – we need to keep this stuff away from them!

Do an audit of your home environment – identify all the products that come in contact with your baby and are chemical cocktails and throw them in the bin immediately!  Then go shopping with fresh eyes and purchase truly nurturing and healthy products to replace them.

Wash in moderation.

This is also important for you and your child.  Did you know that not only does our skin breathe and absorb nutrients, it also retains a “good” bacteria to fight those bad germs out there? People, who bath too often or are always washing their hands at every move, will wash away this good bacteria and wonder why they have skin problems or contacting virus’ every time they turn around. Of course because we don’t want to contaminate anything we all have to wash our hands when we go to the washroom, before we eat, when we have been out shopping, playing with other children, when we are preparing meats and then start to prepare veggies…

Showers are better for people and hot showers are a no-no.  Showers should be body temp. If you are sore and achy then by all means have a hot bath for that, but don’t make a practice of it on an every day basis. Having hot baths (especially in women) can dry out the vaginal areas and cause more problems than it’s worth. Doctors have also found that there is an ingredient in bubble bath products that isn’t good for you.
So the message here – read those labels and make wise purchases!

Pure and simple is best.
